Whats for Dinner?

Don't panic I know whats for dinner!

How often do you find yourself with a lost appetite because you have no idea what you're going to eat for dinner. Well this biggest common mistake that we make when we decide to pick up a new diet is eating! Yes you heard me right you have to eat in order to lose weight.

I encourage you start off the day by eating breakfast and snacking throughout the day I promise you won't be rushing home for dinner. You'll be able to push through that workout without any cravings and will be able to relax and eat a normal balance dinner.

To common we make the mistake by not preparing our food the night before and now we're too tired to cook so we get something quick, cheap and unhealthy. Its time to change those bad habits. I usually prepare three meals for the week because I get bored with eating the same type of food everyday. It best sometimes to pick the main course and alternate the different sides to have a different palette. Just like working out you don't want your body to get adjusted to the same types of foods but you do want to fuel your body with the right type. Stay away from sugary sports drinks the best thing to refuel with is after a intense workout is WATER! Water rebuilds muscle. Do you not consume a lot fruit, alternate by adding fruits and vegetables to your protein drinks they make a world of a difference.

I hope these little tips help to plan better before bedtime meals and post workout.

Refuel the right way!

  1. I can touch my toes...and I can palm the floor... But Cheap Quick and Unhealthy are killing me. I'm strapped for time and I need healthy snacks. I go to the grocery store and What the heck is a healthy snack. I can't find that section... All I see is fried chips and candy. Where is the healthy stuff?

  12. I love cooking and always try to cook from scratch every meal possible since I have a toddler to feed. I’m lucky that I’m a stay home mom so I have time to do this everyday. I remember I couldn’t do this at all when I had a full time job.
