I Can't Touch My Toes!

Stretch

It's Challenge Day

When's the last time you actually touched your toes without bending your knees? I'll wait....Before writing this blog I had to ask myself the same question. To be honest I really can't remember. The only time me and my toes meet are when I tie my shoe. Sure you can laugh but I'm sure you don't remember either.

I want to start a challenge. Start your mornings with a stretch exercises, they don't have be anything in particular but something that increases the blood flow throughout your body. I want you to stretch for about 5 minutes. You have 5 minutes to spare in the morning. Do this for a week and let me know how much a difference that 5 minutes has helped you throughout your week. You'll probably add more time to the daily stretch now that your bones are more relaxed ad limber. For those of you with a much tighter schedule try stretching 5 minutes before bed.

Also don't worry I will be completing this challenge with you as well because it would hurt add stretching to daily routine especially because I sit at a desk most of the day with bad posture.

Comment and let me know how your first week went with stretching. I would love to hear what your strengths and weaknesses were while trying to complete this challenge.

  6. I too sit at a desk all day at work and have to make myself walk away to do a little stretching. Sometimes I take 15 minute breaks and walk around the parking lot to relieve some of the tension.

  8. This would definitely improve my day to day routine. As a person who’s in the office all day this would help wake up my dormant muscles that are less active during the work day.
